The 'Maracanazo' is the 1950 deciding match in which Uruguay beat Brazil 2–1 at a packed Maracanã to win the tournament. The 'Mineirazo' is the 2014 semi-final in which Germany beat Brazil 7–1 in Belo Horizonte. Two events do not make a curse; mythology says otherwise.
